The William M. Staerkel Planetarium at Parkland College is the second largest planetarium in Illinois. With 128 seats beneath a 50-foot dome, the planetarium's digital projection system immerses you in the universe around us. Who can promise you the Sun, Moon, and stars and actually deliver?

• Public programs Friday & Saturday nights at 7pm and 8pm

• Fridays only in the summer months with Tuesday/Thursday matinees

• Field trips can be scheduled through the week 8am to 4pm
