As Champaign County’s premier environmental education facility, the nature center features an interactive Field Station with live owls and reptiles, a Wildlife Observation Room, a gift shop, educator resources and more.

 

Outside you will find the new Friendship Grove Nature Playscape, habitat gardens, and Busey Woods with over two miles of hiking trails including a 1/3 mile boardwalk interpretive trail.

 

The nature center is a great place for individuals, families and groups—hundreds of programs and activities are held each year! Call for more information or a seasonal program guide.
