The Museum of the Grand Prairie offers dynamic exhibits, programs and events rich in local history.

 

During your visit, head outside to enjoy the Discovery Garden, the Mabery Gelvin Botanical Garden and nearby hiking trails in natural areas.

Open March-December:

• March - May: 1-5 pm daily

• June - August: 10 am-5 pm daily

• September - December: 1-5 pm daily

The museum is located in Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve in Mahomet.
